To combat a 29% rise in child domestic violence in Hong Kong, Save the Children created “The Sound of Violence,” a campaign that replaced all audio elements in the iconic Dolby Atmos 7.1 Surround Sound cinema demo with realistic sounds of violence. Executed in partnership with Dolby technicians, thousands of cinema-goers were surprised with this jarring experience before screenings of an award-winning film about childhood trauma.
